Day 1 :Guwahati–Bomdila(200km 7hrs)
On arrival Northeast Trip Planner representative will escort you towards your vehicle for your onward Journey to Bomdila . En-route visit Tipi Orchidarium, a glass house with over 7500 Orchids. Overnight stay in Hotel in Bomdila.
Day 2 :Bomdila–Tawang(143 km, 7hrs)
After breakfast chek out from hotel to visit the Kiwi & Apple Gardens. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang and overlooking the river inhabited by colorful tribes, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) spend some lovely times by the paradise lake. Reaching Tawang check in at Hotel. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 3 :Tawang local sightseeing
After breakfast explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyasto during 17th Century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama. Tawang monastery is the largest monastery in India and second after the Potala palace in Lhasha Tibet. Evening is free for leisure or shopping in the local market. Overnight at stay at Tawang Hotel.
Day 4 :Excursion to Madhuri lake,PTSO lake & Bumla Pass
After breakfast full day excursion to Madhuri lake, Bumla Pass and PTSO lake (subject to permission) near to China Border.(local sumo are allowed for this place) . The Tawang Gompa is definitely the high point of the town, with a command view of the splendid valleys beyond . Also visit the War memorial. Evening free for shopping and leisure. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 5: Tawang to Dirang (134km in 04:30hrs)
After breakfast check out from Tawang hotel and proceed towards Dirang. Drive to Jang to get a breathe taking view of waterfalls. Pay your homage at the Jashwant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial at down hill & drive towards Dirang. Overnight at Hotel at Dirang.
Day 6 : Dirang to Guwahati(200km in 06:30hrs)
After breakfast check out from the hotel in Dirang and drive towards Guwahati . Evening River Cruise on the mighty river Brahmaputra (subject to availability/direct payment basis). Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 7 : Guwahati to mallynong & back to Shillong.
After breakfast check-out-from hotel in Guwahati and drive to Mawlynnong. Today you will explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the sky walk. Spectacular view of the living Root Bridge. After lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. it is a splendid drive of 45 kilometres passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. After reaching Dawki (Umngot river). Umngot river is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single span suspension bridge was constructed. Later back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 8 :Shillong-cherrapunji local & transfer to Guwahati (150km in 03:30hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is famous for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of 3 ½ hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sisier falls,Mawsmai Caves,Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park and the Thangkharang Park .Later Back to Guwahati . Overnight at Guwahati.
Day 9: Guwahati Local sighseeing
Early Morning visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country.Return back to hotel after breakfast visit Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra-a cultural centre with a fine exposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam,Balaji Temple & Basistha Ashram.Evening River Cruise on the mighty river Brahamaputra (subject to availability/direct payment basis). Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 10 : Guwahati Airport or Railway Station Drop
