Darjeeling

Day 01 : Airport/Railway to Gangtok(120 km in 5 hrs)
Arrival at (IXB) Bagdogra / (PYG) Pakyong Airport / (NJP) New Jalpaiguri Railway station. On arrival Northeast Trip Planner  representative will escort you towards your vehicle for your onward Journey  to Gangtok .Through your trip to Gangtok stop at coranation bridge build in 1941 to click some photos. 6 km from Teesta bazaar is small settlement called Melli.  Melli is the place for  river rafting. Later cross the Rangpo Check and entry the beautiful state sikkim. After reaching Gangtok, check in the hotel.Evening is free to roam arround on your own. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir/Nathula (Optional at an extra cost)
Visit the borders between India and China There is no dearth of tourist attractions in Gangtok with places to visit like Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Mandir. After having a lip-smacking breakfast today, get ready to range over these two iconic tourist attractions in Gangtok. Tsomgo Lake is situated at a height of 12,400 feet featuring exceptional views and plaid waters. The ropeway  at tsomgo lake will give you 360 beauty of this region. However, Baba Mandir is a temple dedicated to Major Baba Harbhajan Singh who sacrificed his life for the nation.You can also visit the strategic pass- Nathula Pass, offshoot the Old Silk Road. However, the permit is subject to availability.Pre application is required for getting permission to Nathula Pass. As restrict number of vehicles are allowed for the day. After an exciting day, retrun to Gangtok. Evening visit famous MG marg for shopping and others.Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 03 : Gangtok full day sightseeing
After breakfast explore the enticing tourist attractions of Gangtok and experience the true essence of this wonderland. Proceed for a city tour of Gangtok. The itinerary consists of tourist attractions like, Ganesh Tok & Tashi View Point, Later visit Research Institute of Tibetology(Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Enchy Monastry, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Flower Show and  Banjhakri Water Falls, Lasha Falls, Baktahng Water Falls. – Covering all these sites will take around approx 6-7 hours. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 04 : Gangtok to Darjeeling Transfer(120 km in 5hrs)
After an early breakfast in the morning, get ready to leave the hotel in Gangtok and start your journey to Darjeeling. Revel in the fascinating beauty of all the landscapes that you pass by mid way. Upon reaching Darjeeling, check-in the hotel and step out to explore the local surroundings near mall road. After spending the evening, return to the hotel to doze off and wake up afresh the next morning for you early morning sightseeing. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

While moving towards Darjeeling there is option of visiting NAMCHI also known as chardham where the manumental structure of famous Indian chardham is made ,here you can visit golden sai temple also. Namchi, which signifies 'top of the sky', is a beautiful spot, favoured with the bounties of nature. This is a optional point  you can have this by paying extra amount as mentioned below.

Day 05 : Darjeeling full day sight-seeing with Tiger Hill
Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view Sunrise over Khangchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop –Enjoy a cup of piping hot Darjeeling tea at one of the tea stalls. Come back to your hotel for breakfast and rest for a while. Later in the day visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday & Govt. Holidays), Make sure to take your kids to visit the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday & Govt. Holidays), and the Tibetan Refugee Centre (Closed on Thursday & Govt. Holidays), outer view of Happy valley Tea Estate Paranomic view, Peace Pagoda, Tenzing & Gombu Rock & Natural History Museum (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays)  for an amazing experience. Rummage through souvenirs at the market in Mall Road and buy lovely trinkets. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 6 Darjeeling to airport/railway  station (90 km n 3 hrs)
After breakfast check out of your hotel and travel back to Bagdogra airport/NJP railway for your onward journey. As you go home the sweet & everlasting memory of Northeast Trip Planner in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.

Mirik lake & Pashupati market of Nepal can visited by paying and extra amount. Mirik is a picturesque tourist spot nestled in the serene hills of Darjeeling district in West Bengal. The centre of all attraction is the Sumendu lake, surrounded by a garden on one side and pine trees on the other and linked together by an arching footbridge called Indreni Pull (Rainbow Bridge).Boating and horse riding can be done here. Pashupati Nagar Market Situated right at the Nepal border, this is the place to buy cheap cosmetics and clothes imported from Thailand. It's not more than a 10-minute walk away from the Darjeeling-Mirik Road. Only Indians and Nepalese are allowed.
